On DATE TBD, (5:30pm) at China Gorge Restaurant, in Hood River, there will be an open house for anyone who has thought of starting a business on the side but didn’t know where to begin. There will be a presentation about www.steps-to-starting-your-business.com, an online course that takes people through the process of starting a business, step-by-step. At this point, nine new businesses have been started by students of this course. In this day and age of deteriorating job security and a tight job market, creating a business of your own is the ticket for many people. The single biggest obstacle is not knowing where to begin. www.steps-to-starting-your-business.com removes this obstacle by presenting the steps involved in starting a business in small, manageable pieces.
